WILDLIFE & NATURE: Buena Vista Canopy & Natural Spa Tour
Buena Vista is located near the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. In this tour you can enjoy the primary forest in a different way: paths built on top of the trees (approx 105 ft / 32 m high). A small climb will take you to the first platform, from there you start to swing to the other 12 platforms, which are connected by 9 cables 150 to 400 feet long.
During the canopy, which lasts almost three hours, you will have the opportunity to observe the surrounding forest from a new perspective ... just like Tarzan!
It is likely that you will be hot by the canopy, so it's time to cool off on the 1200-foot-long (365m) slide.
After lunch in the cabin, we started the third part of the tour: riding to the hot springs, steam baths and natural spas, located in the foothills of the volcano Rincón de la Vieja. Here you will enjoy rejuvenating treatments with volcanic mud and mineral waters.
On your way there you will enjoy the flora and fauna of the forest transition (between dry and humid forest) where you could see monkeys, squirrels, and a variety of butterflies and birds such as woodpeckers and toucans.
